Yesterday I attended the Association of Convenience Stores reception in Parliament to show my support and sign the 'Local Shop' pledge, which recognises the importance of local shops in our towns and villages.
I was pleased that two retailers from my constituency, Chris Buckham from Bretforton Community Shop and Rav Garcha from Nisa local in Broadway, were invited to the event in recognition of their contribution to this sector.
It was a pleasure to discuss the local and national issues which affect these businesses that are so vital to our community.
