What a pleasure it was to participate in the Opening of Evesham Abbey Gardens.
This is the result of hard work and fundraising over many years led by the Evesham Abbey Trust, led Barrie Baldelli and Elizabeth Spencer. But also it has become a reality due to over 100 volunteers who have contributed their skills and their time - totalling over 8,000 hours - to the project.
Special thanks also to Wychavon District Council, well as The National Lottery Heritage Fund and Historic England for their support and guidance.
