I was delighted to spend time with the local community in Cleeve Prior this weekend and lend my support to the campaign to reopen the Kings Arms pub by bringing it into Community Ownership.
The pub fist opened in 1542 and the villagers have ambitious plans to not only reopen it, but expand it's role and purpose in the village. A significant amount has already been raised but there is still a way to go to reach the £350,000 target.
