I had the pleasure of visiting Droitwich Spa Lido to hear about the investment and restoration plan for this much-loved facility.
The plan aims to transform the Lido into a national destination for leisure and wellbeing while supporting the wider regeneration of Droitwich Spa town centre.
Key proposals include:
A safer, enhanced entrance from Worcester Road.
New family-friendly swimming and leisure areas.
Restoration and new uses for the iconic Art Deco building.
A brine pool, spa facilities, and improved café spaces.
