It was an honour to participate in the Remembrance Sunday service in Evesham today. Large numbers turned out to pay their respects to the fallen right across Worcestershire. It was another poignant moment for us to remember those who gave their lives so that we may live free. Thank you to The Royal British Legion and all those who helped organise, participated in or attended.
Although I was unable to attend the service in Droitwich, I am grateful to Councillor Daniel Birch for laying my wreath on my behalf.
