The former Mayor of the West Midlands Combined Authority, Andy Street, has endorsed my campaign to become the Member of Parliament for the new constituency of Droitwich and Evesham.
I am delighted to have the backing of Andy Street, someone who I have worked closely with in the past and who had a brilliant track record as Mayor. The West Midlands is worse off without Andy as Mayor, and his recent election defeat is a clear example of ‘Vote Reform, Get Labour’.
Andy Street narrowly lost the West Midlands Mayoral Election by 1,500 votes last month because 33,000 people voted Reform and provided a stark warning for those who may be thinking of voting for Reform, that "if you do not want a Labour Member of Parliament in Droitwich and Evesham it's very simple, you have to get out and vote for Nigel."
