The fourth round of the Government’s Cultural Development Fund is soon to be launched across England. Cultural venues are invited to apply for up to £5 million from a funding pot of £15.2 million as part of this latest round of the Fund, which continues to level up access to the arts and culture across England.
The projects funded create job opportunities for local people and drive economic growth, as well as delivering huge social benefits within local communities. So far, 20 projects have received a combined total of £76.8 million from the Cultural Development Fund since 2019.
The launch of the fourth round of the Cultural Development Fund is a great opportunity for cultural venues in my Mid Worcestershire constituency to gain funding, with the effects of any successful bid being felt by those across the constituency.
I encourage any eligible businesses within Mid Worcestershire to consider applying for the fund.
Arts Council England, which delivers this fund on behalf of the Department for Culture, Media and Sport, has today published guidance for those considering making an application.
