It continues to be a very dramatic and fast moving time for British politics.
Today, Andrea Leadsom announced she has withdrawn from the Conservative Party leadership contest and Graham Brady, Chair of the 1922 Committee, has confirmed that Theresa May is therefore the only remaining candidate.

In previous posts I outlined why I was supporting Theresa May for leader, but both Theresa May and Andrea Leadsom are both formidable and talented women who have a lot to contribute to British politics and society.
For those of you who were Brexit supporters, I hope Theresa May's comments this morning were comforting. Theresa May said that 'Brexit means Brexit and we are going to make a success of it.
I will do everything I can to support the new Prime Minister in achieving that goal and securing the best deal for Britain.
