I and other Worcestershire MPs - Rachel Maclean, Robin Walker and Mark Garnier - spent yesterday morning with Worcestershire Acute Hospitals Chief Executive Matthew Hopkins and his team discussing the performance of - and future plans for - our local hospitals. It was a very useful meeting.
I know our local NHS services are a major concern of my constituents and I was reassured by the plans of the Hospitals Trust to improve services and to attract and retain more staff.
Our NHS team work hard but we need to make sure they have the resources and support to do their jobs as they - and we - all wish.
