In Parliament last week, I celebrated The National Lottery’s 25th birthday, where I learned more about their £40 billion worth of investment in good causes.
Mid-Worcestershire has received almost £29.5 million in funding in over 600 local projects since 1994, including Worcester Museums’ 'Suitcase Stories’ which helps people living with dementia and their carers and the Hartlebury Castle Preservation Trust, which helps preserve our local heritage.
I heard some really inspiring stories of how this investment has helped support local community projects, and I hope many more Worcestershire organisations and groups are beneficiaries for the next 25 years to come.
