My weekend started with a very enjoyable visit to the pancake morning at Evesham Baptist Church. The annual event is held as part of Fairtrade Fortnight and we had some productive discussions over chocolate pancakes about how the Fairtrade initiative can be supported.
I then went to join my fellow Worcestershire MP, Rachel Maclean, who was canvassing with local candidates in Redditch ahead of the upcoming local elections in May.
On Sunday, I had the pleasure of joining civic leaders at the Worcestershire Civic Service at Worcester Cathedral. It was a beautiful service with wonderful songs by the Primrose Hospice Choir as well as the Cathedral Choir.
