I was delighted to meet with Karen Blanchfield, who set up the Little Litter Warriors programme in Worcestershire in 2020 to educate and engage school children across the area about litter and looking after community spaces.
It was a pleasure to hand Karen the Prime Minister’s Points of Light Award - the daily award for outstanding individual volunteers.
Karen is the 2294th Point of Light and it was an honour to congratulate her.
