One of the key features of the landmark Domestic Abuse Bill published by the Government last month is the establishment of a Domestic Abuse Commissioner.
Today in Parliament I asked Home Office and Women & Equalities Minister Victoria Atkins for assurances that the new Commissioner will share best practice with services across the country and was pleased to hear the Commissioner will focus on ensuring services are provided consistently by local and national government.
