On 23rd April, there was a question session with the Parliamentary Under Secretary for Justice, Edward Argar MP, and I asked about the youth justice system and what the Government is doing to reduce the amount of young people offending and re-offending.
I welcome the news that there is an 86% reduction in the amount of young people entering into the youth justice system since 2010. I hope that this reduction continues in the future with the hard work and commitment of the Ministry of Justice and I will continue pressing the Ministry of Justice on their progress.
