I enjoyed spending time with the Canal & River Trust on the beautiful 'Patricia' narrow boat based at Forge Studio, Dunhampstead.
We travelled up the canal through my constituency, starting in the village of Tibberton. It was insightful to hear from the team at the Canal & River Trust on all the great work they're doing in the local area, including their work in planting 360 trees in a field alongside the canal and repairing slippages.
I was pleased to be joined by local community leaders from Tibberton, and discuss with them the benefits of the canal to the surrounding area.
The canal boat is run alongside the Forge Studio, and I was delighted to see the fabulous items that they have on offer.
