Between Thursday and Saturday, Tesco held their annual food collection in partnership with The Trussell Trust and FareShare. Last year they were able to provide more than 3.4 million meals to people in need and they have donated 49 million meals since the Tesco Food Collection started in December 2012.
On Friday I joined Ruth from FareShare, Lindsay from Tesco and Di from Caring Hands in the Vale at Tesco Evesham to talk about this great work and make a contribution. It was really encouraging to see a big business doing its part to support the local community.
