I am delighted to say that two parks in my constituency, Abbey Park in Evesham and Droitwich Lido Park, have been nominated in the Fields in Trust UK’s Favourite Parks award.
Local parks have acted as a sanctuary for so many over the past few years and now is our chance to celebrate the special spaces on our doorstep where we could get outdoors, move, relax, play, meet with loved ones and more. It's fantastic to see these two great parks in my constituency get the recognition they deserve.
At the close of voting, the four Home Nation winners will be shortlisted before the announcement of the UK's Favourite Park 2022. In addition, any park within the top 20% of votes will receive recognition as a Local Favourite!
