It is excellent news this morning that the UK will aim for net zero carbon emissions by 2050, the first major economy to do so.
Young people have played an important role keeping climate change on the agenda, so I'm pleased to see they will have chance to share future climate policy through the Youth Steering Group, run through the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport and the British Youth Council.
I hope as many Young Conservatives as possible get themselves involved.
