Many people assume the Droitwich and Evesham constituency (the former Mid Worcestershire constituency) is some kind of rural idyll; without problems or deprivation.
It isn't.
Many villages contain pockets of considerable need and areas of both Droitwich and Evesham contain communities that are high on the national deprivation index.
Over my time as the local MP I have worked closely with local community groups, volunteer organisations, schools and councillors to do what I can to support communities such as Westlands in Droitwich to apply for funds and get support across a range of areas.
In this video I discuss some of these matters with Cllr Alex Sinton and Cllr Richard Morris whom I have worked closely with on initiatives in Droitwich and Westlands.
