I was so pleased to welcome students from Year 5 at St Richard's First School in Evesham to Parliament yesterday (Monday 21st November.) It was great to meet them following their tour of Parliament and an interactive workshop where they learned all about how Parliament works. I had the opportunity of a chat with the group, and they put questions to me which included asking how to become an MP, and what I like best about being an MP. It's great when Mid Worcestershire residents visit Parliament, and particularly enjoyable when children come and show an interest in how Government works. They'll each receive one of my special certificates commemorating their visit.
