Today during Oral Questions to the Department for Exiting the European Union I welcomed the broad agreement that has been reached with Spain about future protocol in relation to Gibraltar. i highlighted how we each benefit from the relationship with 10,000 Spaniards working in Gibraltar everyday, 18 million Brits visiting Spain last year and the UK being Spain's fifth biggest trading partner.
I was pleased to hear Brexit Minister Robin Walker agree that continuing frictionless flow of goods, tourists and workers will benefit all sides and that the Government looks forward to enhanced co-operation with Spain.
