Together with my fellow Worcestershire MPs, I had a good meeting with Nick Gibb, Minister for School Standards to discuss social mobility and school funding in Worcestershire.
We raised the issues of funding disparities between Worcestershire and other parts of the country. I think we managed to put forward a clear picture of where Worcestershire stands in regard to education and social mobility.
I'm hoping that this is a step towards making the standard of education for young people in Worcestershire even higher.
