Today on 10th June, I attended an emotional event in the Speaker's Rooms in the House of Commons to commemorate the second anniversary of the Grenfell Tower fire.
In the past, I have spoken in the House and asked the Prime Minister whether there is a clear intention for the Government to ban inflammable cladding in buildings after this tragedy happened two years ago and I will continue to monitor the Government's action on this.
Thank you to Grenfell United and the victims for sparing the time to talk to me and other MPs. Alas, there's still a lot to do to bring justice to victims and ensure another horrendous event like this never happens again.
