On Saturday I once again had the honour to officially open the Droitwich Spa Food and Drink Festival in Droitwich. This is a great festival that puts not only Droitwich on the map, but showcases our fantastic local food and beverage offerings.
Fortunately the weather was sunny and we were able to sample some of the brilliant local produce, and celebrate the amazing contribution of our local farmers and growers who generate £67 million each year for our economy.
Thank you to all the organisers, stallholders and attendees for making it so successful, and a special thanks to Patrick Davis for organising his last festival and best wishes to Mark and Christine Cookson who will be taking over next year.
