Yesterday over 10,000 people, including several Mid Worcestershire residents, marched on Parliament to demand that action is taken to tackle the effects of climate change. A reception was later held in the House of Commons with guest speakers including actor James Norton. It was brilliant to go out and meet local residents who had taken the time and effort to come to London where I discussed with them what the Government is already doing, and what more could be done.
Below is a briefing that I circulated to residents about what I have been doing in Parliament with respect to tackling climate change, as well as what ambitions the Government has already planned to do through its 25 Year Environment Plan.
