At Prime Minister's Questions earlier today I asked Theresa May to join me in welcoming the Government's recent Tourism Sector Deal, which will see a greater collaboration between Government and the tourism industry through the creation of new apprenticeships and new Tourism Zones, which will bring organisations and local businesses closer together.
The deal was reached between the Department for Business, the Department for Culture and with input from VisitBritain, the tourist board for Great Britain.
Thousands are employed in Mid Worcestershire within the tourism sector and I hope this new deal will help and support local businesses and organisations like Visit Worcestershire even more.
