Last week, I participated in PoliFest 2019, the first political sporting event organised by Shout Out UK, a youth network that builds and boosts political engagement.
As you will see in this video, I was joined by Johnny Mercer and Tom Brake as well as other representatives from projects involved in political engagement and literacy like More United. We spoke about youth participation in politics today and about our own individual journeys to becoming MPs.
A huge thank you to everyone who showed up and joined in, playing ping pong and demonstrating the great projects that are out there to help make politics accessible to as many people as possible.
