On Friday I paid a visit to Wychavon District Council's "Youth Bus" which has been driving around Wychavon District. It is a mobile facility managed by the local council and is a brilliant initiative designed to offer young people a variety of activities, information and support services and to provide a safe place for those in predominantly in rural areas.
As well as drop-in sessions, the Youth Bus offers a range of informal educational workshops aimed at those between 13-17 years of age, covering a range of topics such as drug and alcohol awareness and sexual health. Sessions can also be tailored to the needs of specific groups and locations.
You can read more about it here.
