It has been another hectic week in parliament with the confirmation that HS2 will go ahead, emergency legislation on the early release of prisoners and, of course, a reshuffle - in which I am delighted to have been made a Minister in the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) - the department that oversees the sectors I have worked in my entire professional and political life. I can't wait to get down to work.
