Last week marked #LoveCultureWeek, and so as well as travelling around the country to support culture and the #EnjoySummerSafely campaign in my capacity as Heritage and Tourism Minister, I have also been glad to spend time supporting arts, culture and heritage in the constituency.
Today I visited the recently reopened Droitwich Heritage Centre at St Richards House and spent time looking again at the exhibits explaining the long history of the town and showcasing it's brine heritage.
I also enjoyed seeing the more recent addition of the 'History in the Making' story boards where local residents have shared their highlights and memories of the recent Coronavirus situation.
Thank you Margaret and Sarah for showing me round and thank you to all the staff and volunteers who do so much to preserve and promote our important local culture and heritage.
