Nigel Huddleston MP celebrated a major milestone at Karndean Designflooring in Evesham, marking 50 years of the company's remarkable journey from a local business to an international flooring leader.
In recognition of this significant milestone, Nigel Huddleston MP visited Karndean on Friday 22nd September, to join in the festivities and honour the company's impressive legacy.
During his visit, Nigel Huddleston MP had the privilege of touring Karndean’s showroom, product room, warehouse, and the Design Services Lab (DSL), witnessing first-hand the company's commitment to quality and innovation.
Karndean, which began as a family-owned business operating from a house in Offenham, has grown into a global powerhouse in the flooring industry. Today, the company proudly provides flooring solutions to renowned companies such as Marks & Spencer, Greggs, and Walmart in the United States, as well as serving numerous domestic buyers.
Nigel Huddleston MP had the opportunity to meet with key figures from Karndean, including Daniel Walker, Director; Paul Barratt, Managing Director; Richard Crook, Operations Director; Gemma Hathaway, HR Director; and Jessica Rollinson, Showroom Manager. These individuals shared insights into the company's impressive growth and its role as a significant employer within the constituency.
With nearly 300 dedicated staff members, Karndean has become a vital contributor to the local economy. Nigel Huddleston MP commended the company for its commitment to excellence and its positive impact on the community.
