The Community Organisations Cost of Living Fund is a £76 million fund which is part of the £101.5 million package of support for charities and community organisations across England announced by the Chancellor in the Spring Budget of 2023.
The National Lottery Community Fund is administering this fund and is responsible for all funding decisions. Applications closed on 16 October 2023 and decisions are still being made on the thousands of applications received. Some decisions have already been made to give funding to organisations within my Mid Worcestershire constituency.
I am pleased that Caring Hands in the Vale, Spectrum Days, Ourside Youth Association and Droitwich Spa Foodbank have all been awarded funding by the scheme. The money received from the Fund should hopefully allow them to continue the amazing work that they do well into the future.
