It is a year since the Coronation.
Shortly before the Coronation, the King and Queen held a reception in the historic Westminster Hall in the Palace of Westminster.
It was an honour to meet the King and reminisce about the Commonwealth Games (where we last met) and he was also particularly keen to hear about what was going on in our constituencies.
The King and Queen both appeared happy and relaxed in this informal setting and must have interacted with hundreds of politicians and staff over a period of nearly two hours - only days before the Coronation itself.
It was an honour to represent my constituents at the event and the experience will be long remembered by all of us who were fortunate to attend.
