During today's Department for Transport questions, I questioned the Transport Minister on the timeline for the crucial Midlands Rail Hub project. This transformative infrastructure investment is set to greatly enhance connectivity and boost economic growth across the West Midlands.
I raised the need for clarity on the project’s delivery, highlighting the importance of improving the region’s transport network. The Minister confirmed that while delivery funding for the first phase is expected in around four years, a business case for the subsequent phases of the programme is currently being developed and is due to be completed next year.
