It was good to support Kate Nicholls at the UK Hospitality event in Parliament today. Hospitality is a powerhouse that contributes £140 billion in economic activity and £54 billion in tax receipts to the economy every year. It is deeply concerning to see Labour’s destructive Employer’s National Insurance tax wrecking so much havoc on this industry. We will continue to hold the Government to account for the short-sighted decisions they are making. In the Droitwich and Evesham constituency the hospitality sector employs 3,418 people across 401 hospitality venues.
