It was great to meet Sam Flood of Defined Beauty clinic in Evesham today and learn about the challenges of the beautician industry with Coronavirus but also the incredible work and entrepreneurial spirit she and so many other beauticians have shown in these difficult times.
This was followed by another trip to meet Tim Pearce from local accountancy firm Haines Watts to talk more about government support for industries, as well as more local issues of reinvigorating the high street.
It's always good to meet the local business people, but especially as we recover from this pandemic it's been really useful and insightful to hear their thoughts on the current situation and I am full of admiration as to how they have overcome the challenges of the past few months.
